$4.5m Lamborghini Veneno Roadster turns up at CES with $50k Monster speaker makeover
1/8/2014 12:36:00 AM

Monster has teamed up with Lamborghini to create a special Monster version of the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster with a complete audio system supplied by the company.

The speaker system, which cost around $50,000 to install is a drop in the ocean compared to $4.5m price tag for the car.

The surround-sound speaker system was installed in just 7 days by Findlay Customs in Las Vegas with the help of Lamborghini technicians and includes a dedicated Android powered touch screen interface so you can control the music - we couldn't resist, we listened to Blurred Lines by Robert Thicke.

It sounded so loud that our legs rumbled with the vibrations from the subwoofers installed in the driver and passenger footwells.

The Veneno Roadster is a beast of a machine. It can go from 0 to 60 in less than 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 220mph.

Inside and the interior and the two bucket seats are made from Lamborghini's Forged Compsite with a carbon-fiber CarbonSkin that clads the entire cockpit.

Oh and only nine will be produced.
