Tablet or desktop? Lenovo releases 19.5-inch Android all-in-one

Lenovo has announced an all-in-one Android computer, dubbed the N308, during CES 2014. It makes us wonder: should we call this a desktop or just a really big tablet?

The 19.5-inch touch-screen machine runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2, with a Nvidia Tegra quad-core chip doing the work behind it. The multitouch screen has a 1600x900 resolution, with 2GB of memory and 320GB or 500GB storage options. It's a desktop you've come to know, but with Android as the software instead of Windows.

However unlike most desktops, if you're feeling adventurous the N308 can be folded up like a tablet and carried around thanks to its three hours of battery life.

Two USB 2.0 ports, a memory card reader, Ethernet port, 720p web cam, built-in mic, stereo speakers, headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.0, and dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi are found. It ships with a full-size keyboard and mouse.

Full access to Google Play and the Amazon AppStore are present within the software, allowing you to download the applications you've come to love on your smartphone and tablet.

Lenovo says the N308 will be available for $450 in February, so maybe start clearing off some desk space.
