Do you want to know what it's like to freefall from space and simultaneously break the speed of sound? Well, just ask daredevil Felix Baumgartner.

Baumgartner, 44, is an Austrian skydiver. On 14 October 2012, he set the world record for skydiving when he jumped to Earth from a helium balloon in the stratosphere. Baumgartner fell an estimated 39 km, reaching a top speed of 1357.64 km/h (Mach 1.25), and became the first person to break the sound barrier without vehicular power on his decent.

Now, more than a year after the jump, you can watch Baumgartner's amazing stunt in first-person point of view. Camera manufacturer GoPro documented the action with seven HERO2 cameras, and it has just published an 8-minute clip of the footage. The HD HERO2 launched in 2011 with an 11 MP image sensor, low-light capability, 120 fps recording power, and different accessory packages.

Go Pro's video shows Baumgartner as he plummeted to Earth, then violently spun into unconsciousness, and eventually glided to safety with a parachute. It looks like a harrowing yet exhilarating experience. Check it out below, though you might want to push pause a few times if you're one of those people prone to motion sickness.
